Come explore yourself and your creativity with an experienced and compassionate art therapist
Life isn’t always easy — growing up, growing older, navigating transitions, illness, loss, or trying to find your place in the world. I’ve seen the pain these challenges can bring — in my own life and in the lives of the people I’ve supported over the last 25 years. I believe healing happens when we’re given space to process, express, and reconnect with parts of ourselves we may have lost along the way.
For me, that space is rooted in art.
Creative Therapy That Heals from the Inside Out
I specialize in client-centered art therapy in New Jersey, which means I begin where you’re at. I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, grief, and life’s transitions.
I will help you become familiar and comfortable with a variety of artistic media. Whether you’re working with clay, paint, collage, or your favorite medium, each creation becomes an opportunity to reflect and grow. Often without words, clients may discover their most pressing problems and find solutions and peace within themselves. In this environment, art is more than a pastime — it’s a healing process.
No prior artistic experience is necessary. My approach to art therapy in NJ invites clients to investigate their emotions and experiences through drawing, painting, mosaics, sculpture, and other mediums that speak to them. They may also learn that they can express themselves and find a sense of empowerment through the acquisition of new artistic skills.
When a piece is finished, we’ll talk about it together. And remember, there is no judgment here!
