Do you feel like your relationship has lost its spark?
Are you struggling to connect with your partner emotionally or physically?
Do you feel like you’ve been stuck in survival mode—just trying to hold it together?

You’re not the only one. Whether it’s the weight of trauma, the pressure to perform, or the burnout from taking care of everyone else, it can be hard to know where you fit in anymore. If you’re craving space to be honest about what you need—without judgment, shame, or the need to explain yourself—therapy might be the right place to start.

I’m Erika, and I help people work through the stuff they’ve been avoiding—whether it’s emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, or struggles with intimacy. My clients often say they’re tired of sugarcoating their feelings or pretending everything’s fine. So if you’re done filtering yourself, you’re in the right place.

Therapy With Me Is Real Talk

I’m not a “sit and nod” therapist. I keep things real, and I invite you to do the same. My therapy style is relaxed, collaborative, and rooted in helping you feel safe enough to show up fully—especially around topics that are hard to talk about, like sex, trauma, or emotional disconnect.

I understand that each client’s experience is unique. I come alongside you by listening deeply and without judgment. From the start, I ask what you want to get out of therapy so that we can form clear, realistic goals—and then work together to give you the tools to meet them. And if you’re not sure what you want, I can help you try to figure that out, too.

Whether we’re talking about rebuilding intimacy with your partner, navigating PTSD, or parenting without losing your mind, my job is to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go.

What We’ll Work On Together

  • Opening up about intimacy, desire, and sexual health without shame
  • Improving connection and communication in your relationship
  • Healing trauma responses by exploring trigger points
  • Learning to scan your body for areas of tension and learning nervous system regulation
  • Managing anxiety, low mood, or emotional burnout
  • Setting achievable goals that support healing in your relationships
  • Finding your identity again—outside of caregiving, relationships, or roles

I help couples strengthen their emotional connection, improve communication, and rebuild trust. Together, we’ll identify and transform patterns that lead to conflict, disconnection, or resentment. We’ll explore criticism, defensiveness, or emotional withdrawal that keep you stuck in the same old cycles. Whether you’re facing intimacy concerns, recurring arguments, or feeling like roommates instead of partners, we’ll work toward creating a relationship built on mutual respect, understanding, and lasting connection.

Education & Experience

I’m a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) in New Jersey with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, where I specialized in Systemic Sex Therapy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University.

My advanced training includes:

I work with people across all relationship structures, including LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse couples. I welcome clients ages 14 and up to try a session with me.

Let’s Start Where You Are

Whatever reason brings you to therapy, the most important step you’ve already taken is reaching out. No two struggles are exactly alike, and no healing path is one-size-fits-all.

I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can be honest, reflect, and start creating meaningful change. I’ll help you regulate your emotions, reconnect with your sense of self, and move toward the relationships you want—with yourself and others.

Outside the therapy room, I love traveling, yoga, and spending quality time with family and friends. Self-care is a big part of my life—and I want to help you build a version of it that works for yours.

Reach out when you’re ready. I’ll meet you there.
