Do you feel unseen or misunderstood by the person you love most—especially after a betrayal? Are childhood wounds—emotional neglect, chaos, or criticism—still shaping the way you fight, shut down, or cling in your adult relationships? For some, these patterns are compounded by racial trauma stress—navigating the weight of discrimination, microaggressions, and systemic inequities while trying to maintain healthy connections.

When life has been marked by trauma, grief, or emotional neglect, it changes the way we connect. It can feel like you’re always on guard, avoiding hard conversations, or reacting before you’ve had time to process. You might have learned to protect yourself from overwhelming emotions, but now those same protections are creating distance with your partner, your children, or the people you care about most.

I specialize in two deeply connected areas: affair recovery & betrayal trauma and inner‑child/attachment healing. I work with both couples and individuals.  Whether you’re the betrayed, the unfaithful partner, or the wounded inner child, we’ll move beyond blame and silence toward understanding, accountability, and repair. Because so many present‑day conflicts are rooted in patterns formed in childhood, we’ll gently trace where those patterns began and practice new ways to respond—with clarity, compassion, and self‑leadership.

Our work goes beyond surface‑level skills. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and trauma‑informed, attachment‑based care, we’ll explore the emotional roots of conflict, rebuild trust and safety, and make closeness feel possible again. Together, we can:

  • Rebuild trust and emotional safety after infidelity
  • Create a clear affair‑recovery plan (boundaries, transparency, pacing)
  • Identify triggers and heal inner‑child/attachment injuries
  • Develop co‑regulating communication that fosters closeness (not defensiveness
  • Strengthen self‑worth and resilience—in and outside your relationship
  • Navigate conflict without losing emotional connection

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Healing from betrayal and early wounds is possible. Your past shapes you, but it doesn’t have to define your future.

Education and Experience

I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (NJ LAMFT) with a B.B.A. from Berkeley College and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University.

I chose this work because I’ve seen how betrayal and early wounds can quietly run a relationship—and how relief shows up when we slow down, name the pattern, and repair it together. In session, I’m warm, steady, and direct. We go at a compassionate pace, make space for both partners’ realities, and practice skills you can use the same day.

My approach is integrative and tailored to you, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Solution‑Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma‑informed, attachment‑based care. You can expect clear structure, gentle accountability, and practical tools between sessions.

Outside of session, I enjoy writing, creating content, rollerblading, and painting—bringing play and creativity into life keeps me grounded and present.

I offer in‑person sessions in Metuchen, NJ and secure telehealth across New Jersey. If you’re ready to begin—whether on your own or alongside your partner—reach out. The first step toward repair and reconnection starts with a conversation.
