IVF and Infertility Support in NJ & NY

Are you a hopeful parent who is struggling to conceive? Have you undergone rounds of IUIs and IVF, and feel like there isn’t anyone who understands the ups and downs of this journey? You’ve confided your feelings to your loved ones, but felt they couldn’t grasp the weight of it all.

You catch yourself thinking that there must be something wrong with you that your body isn’t doing what it is “supposed” to do. The two-week wait (aka TWW) fills you with anxiety after so many dashed hopes. Maybe it’s hard to celebrate a positive test because you’ve experienced pregnancy loss before.

This journey through infertility treatment touches on every part of your life. Your self-worth, your identity, your relationship with your body, your bank account, your relationships, and the way you imagine your future. As someone who works with people experiencing infertility, I am here for you. I speak the language and understand the medical terminology. But more importantly, I understand the anxiety and the grief – the cycles of hope and disappointment. I’m ready to hear what your journey has meant for you.

Counseling for New Moms in NJ & NY

Are you a new post-partum parent who feels guilty that you’re struggling to enjoy time with your baby? You are tired, anxious, irritable, and overwhelmed. This isn’t what you imagined life with a child would be. You wonder if you’re a good enough parent. You have a baby, but you don’t really feel like a “mom” on the inside. You sometimes wonder if there’s something wrong with you because you just can’t seem to overcome these struggles.

As a therapist who specializes in working with new moms, I know that what you’re experiencing is more than just the “baby blues”. So many new moms feel this way. It’s real, and you deserve real support. You’re not crazy.

I’m not here to hand you a checklist or offer generic advice. I offer a space where you can say the things you’ve been afraid to say out loud. Go ahead and be yourself. There’s no judgment here. It’s okay to be messy. I understand the challenge of this season of life. Together, we’ll work through the guilt, the anxiety, and the identity shift that comes with motherhood, so you can start to feel present and connected with your baby, and with yourself.

Parent Consulting in NJ & NY

Are you a parent who suddenly finds themselves in new waters with a tween or teen? Your child is asking more challenging questions, and they’re getting harder to answer. Your child is pressing for new forms of autonomy, and you’re second-guessing yourself.

My approach to parenting consultation isn’t one-size-fits-all, because honestly, neither are kids. I don’t believe in rigid rules or a single “right” way to parent. Instead, I help you find the balance between being a warm, connected presence in your child’s life and a confident authority figure who sets clear boundaries. Sometimes that means slowing down and getting curious about what’s really driving your child’s behavior.

I believe that connection is the foundation of everything. When tweens and teens feel truly heard, they’re more likely to open up, cooperate, and navigate challenges in healthy ways. Other times, it means helping you feel more comfortable holding the line. Together, we’ll build a parenting style that feels authentic to you, and actually works for your family. You don’t have to choose between being a loving parent and a firm one. I’ll help you be both.

OCD Treatment for NJ and NY Residents

Do you have intrusive thoughts that bother you? Fears of contamination, illness, or dangers that keep returning, no matter how much you clean or try to keep them at bay. Sometimes you recite things in your head to calm the overwhelm. Maybe you only eat certain “safe” foods, wash your hands frequently, or double-check your work multiple times. You try to avoid your triggers, but the intrusive thoughts always come back.

If this sounds familiar, I want you to know that what you’re experiencing has a name, and more importantly, it’s treatable. OCD is not a life sentence, and you don’t have to keep white-knuckling your way through it alone.

My approach to OCD treatment is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which is widely recognized as the most effective treatment for OCD. I want to be honest with you about what to expect: the goal isn’t to make the thoughts disappear completely. Instead, we work together to strip them of their power, so that when they show up, they no longer send your whole day off the rails.

Over time, you can expect to respond to these thoughts differently, to feel less controlled by them, and to reclaim the mental space they’ve been taking up. The thoughts may still visit from time to time, but they won’t have the same grip on you. You’ll learn to live your life fully, without being held back by your own mind.

Education & Experience

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey and New York. I graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Arts in both French and Environmental Anthropology. I completed my Master’s in Social Work at New York University Silver School of Social Work.

I have 7 years of experience treating adults with addiction. I have 13 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children and families, with a niche specialty in pediatric OCD, school refusal, and anxiety.  In those years, I have developed experience and skills in working with adult children of alcoholics and narcissists. I also have experience supporting parents as they raise complex, wonderful little humans. I love working with hopeful parents facing infertility or miscarriage/loss, parents of complex need children, and those with anxiety and OCD.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy yoga and HIIT. And when I can find the time, you’ll catch me escaping it all by rereading my favorite Tolkien novels.

I offer telehealth sessions to clients in New Jersey. If you have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and second-guessing your worth as a parent, or feeling trapped in anxious looping thoughts, then call today. I’m here for you.
